Born and raised in Newton, MA, I have been a Boston native most of my life. Upon graduating from Ithaca College’s award winning Park School of Communications I moved back to the Boston area and started my career working in the Community Relations Department for the Boston Red Sox. The highlight of my time there was being a part of the 1999 All Star Game festivities which were held at Fenway Park.
In 2004 I segued into Real Estate. I began my career at a small boutique firm in Jamaica Plain where I was mentored by two of the most successful Realtors in the greater Boston area. In the spring of 2005, I was recruited to join William Raveis Real Estate and after 7 years in their Boston and Newton offices, I made the exciting decision to move to the Keller Williams family. My decision was made after I saw first hand the training, systems and tools that KW gives to both their agents and their clients thus making the real estate sales experience truly one of a kind. Since moving to KW, my entire perception on selling real estate has changed. I have gone from having a job to running my own business.
In 2010 I obtained my SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) certification through the National Association of Realtors. My goal is to focus a portion of my real estate practice working with these ever expanding demographics – Baby Boomers and Seniors. (Very few Realtors nationwide are focusing their time and efforts on these rapidly growing groups). I feel I have the personality, skill set and understanding to be an advocate and resource for my clients who meet these criteria. Additionally, in 2014 I received my Global Real Estate Property Specialist certification. This allows me to market my listings in over 18 languages in 100 countries to over 500,000 international real estate professionals. With one in every twelve home sales now being a foreign buyer, this gives me a significant leg up on my competition.
When I’m not working hard for my clients, I am spending time with my Goldendoodle Riley who is a therapy dog. Together we visit hospitals, colleges and various other institutions and help make people feel better. I also enjoy playing golf, seeing movies and spending time on Cape Cod where my family owns a home.
